The Fluffy Bagel remix stormed the dance floors at all the early Acid House music parties from the UK to Detroit.
Done with Mark McGuire with a tiny bit of synth playing from Eon (The Spice Must Flow)
British music being sent back to the USA where the inspiration had come from in the first place.
And don’t worry, Mark and that big name DJ have been good friends for years now. Well maybe until he sees this 😀

The man who famously mismanaged the Sex Pistols and also brought hip-hop to the mainstream masses with his track Buffalo Gals.
Electronic music pioneers Mark Moore and William Orbit remixed three iconic tracks for him:
🎵 Deep In Vogue
🎵 Something’s Jumpin' In Your Shirt
🎵 Call A Wave
Their mix of Deep In Vogue shot to number 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, shining a huge spotlight on the New York Voguing House scene 👑 A year later Madonna released her own track, Vogue.

A letter from William Orbit ✉️🚀 I’ve spent the la A letter from William Orbit ✉️🚀
I’ve spent the last few weeks diving back into his incredible catalog. From the Torch Song days (those 12-inch mixes are magnificent!) to the Strange Cargo albums, and gems like Kate Garner's “Love Me Like A Rocket” 12-inch.
Of course, there’s the iconic 90s mixes, Madonna, and beyond. So many of the tracks are a masterpiece of British electronic music.
Then, I found this lost letter from William, tucked inside one of the albums, and I’d like to share it with you.
Safe journeys and happy space travels to you, William ❤️🕊

Acid House is a feeling. Mark Moore from S Express Acid House is a feeling. Mark Moore from S Express talks about his iconic, chart topping track, Theme From S Xpress.
1988 was a turning point, not just for British music, but also for bringing the classic sounds of Chicago House and Detroit Techno to a larger audience around the world.
Many will remember 1988 being the Second Summer of Love and for its euphoric, electronic music. Years later the vibe is still going strong.
Acid House is a way of life.
Shocked and sad to hear about the passing of @will Shocked and sad to hear about the passing of @williamorbit
He was always one of my favourite producers after I fell in love with the music he made as Torch Song. I constantly hammered Prepare To Energise at The Pyramid / Heaven and The Mud Club.
When I needed a remix for my track Hey Music Lover I set about finding William to do a mix. The record label suggested getting one of the mega famous remixers around at that time but I insisted that we had to find William Orbit. Most people didn’t know who he was then, which I thought was ridiculous. The man was obviously a genuine genius and years ahead of his time musically. He did the remix for me and it was just sublime.
Following this we worked on many remixes together including Prince, Malcolm McLaren and Les Rita Mitsouko. We also worked on my track Mantra For A State of Mind together.
When we remixed Prince we were a bit nervous. We did feel the mixes needed to be accessible and William said they should sound S Xpress which we both agreed on. But when it came to remixing The Future, well that was William letting loose, unchained and doing even more of his thing. It’s a darker mix and a lot of people say it was the first Progressive House track. To this day I have people coming up and saying they based their whole sound on that remix.
William was just brilliant. His rise and rise to the the place where he should always have been, where he got the overdue recognition as the mega producer and musician that he always was, finally happened when he worked with Madonna on A Ray Of Light.
William had his ups and downs. He would contact me on his’ ups' and I’d not hear from him on his ‘downs'. I will always treasure those moments with him at his Guerilla Studios, William Djing at my club night, and especially the last time that we had a fun lunch date together. When he had the ‘ups’ he was always a joy.
Safe journeys to you William, you enigmatic space cadet - travelling through time and space and touching so many people with your music ❤️🕊

Mark Moore talks about The Music Machine in Camden Town, London. Seeing bands like Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Clash and The Slits. This venue transformed into the Camden Palace which hosted Steve Strange and @rustyegan ’s post new-romantic night. There (in 1982 to 1984) you could hear new electronic music and synth pop that started taking over the UK from 1979 onwards and went on to conquer the music charts around the world.
A tale of punks, skinheads, bigotry, cancel culture and waiting for the trains to start running again.
Mark holds in his hands the UK disco movie The Music Machine (1979) (filmed at the venue) which is out now via @severinfilms on BluRay. Mark Moore and Alan Jones @alanfrightfest do one of the extras on it - Disco Maniacs. See the Part 1 video for more on that!

My favourite Adam & The Ants song is still "Zerox" from 1979. You gotta fave?
