The ‘Original Mix Plus 8′ was the original 1988 mix sped up to plus 8 to combat BPM inflation! This could have been the perfect opportunity to put the original 12″ mix (at normal speed) on CD for the first time … alas no! A couple of dance compilations even licensed the track and put the sped up version on!

The Carl Craig M. Bation Stroke Special Mix was also released as a one sided promo only 12″ for some reason. Possibly a full unedited mix. Carl did the mix for Mark as a birthday present.

The CD packaging is truly a work of art. Thought up by Mark and realised by Morgan Penn, featuring the luscious Annette as cover girl. It’s a classic!
